Announcement: Message to all forum users re signatures - please read

As per forum rules, signature images must not be larger than 10kb in size. To check the size of your signature, right click on the image and select 'properties', if its larger than 10kb please remove and resize the image.

Note that the site bandwidth use in on the increase and we have been over our bandwidth allocation for 2 months running. Unfortunately, its not possible to set sig sizes in the forum configuration, its up to individual members to ensure images are with set sizes. The alternative is to remove the signature facility on the forum - something I would rather not do.

Please action ASAP.

Announcement: All .info email addresses banned from forum

I have to delete a handful of spam users off the forum each day, more often that not, they use a *.info top level domain email address. I don't believe any active user on the forum uses a .info email address so I've taken the step of banning username@domain.info email addresses on signup to the forum. If you are a valid user of a *.info address, please contact me directly via pm or email address.

Announcement: Account activation mechanism changed

Due to innappropriate content being posted on the forum and an increase in the amount of 'spam' users coming online, I've changed account activation from 'user' to admin'. This means that new users will not be able to activate their own accounts, this can only be undertaken by the site admin. I'd rather not have to do this for a number of reasons but its unavoidable given the circumstances.
